24-7 Youth Work

We have had the privilege of working closely with Orewa College since 2015. Currently, we have five youth workers based at Orewa College, working under the nationwide 24-7 Youth Work Programme. Our team work closely with the College's Guidance Department, and teaching staff, to offer a relationship based mentoring programme to students needing additional support and friendship.

Wellbeing Programme

Wellbeing Programme

Our Youth Wellbeing facilitators lead a variety of programmes across schools in the Orewa Kahui Ako (a cluster of 7 schools on the Hibiscus Coast with a combined student population of approx. 4500). Delivered in small groups, these programmes offer early intervention for tamariki needing additional support, and equip them with tools for developing emotional regulation, resilience, and positive relationships.

Move & Groove

Move & Groove is a music and movement programme for adults with disabilities and their caregivers running every Tuesday during the school term (please note caregivers are required to stay onsite).

You are welcome to bring your own lunch from 12.00pm and the music is pumping from 1.00pm-2.00pm. Tea and coffee are provided and we ask for a small contribution of $5 per client which goes towards the running costs of the programme.
